It was nice and peaceful at first, if even a little bit relaxing. Though there just wasn't enough time in the day to do everything so i had to plan out my days and pick and choose what i was going to do. After a while that relaxing feeling turned into a sense of dread and anxiety as it slowly turned more depressing, dark and the days got shorter and shorter. First i lost my goats to wolves, then my chickens were gone as well, the well dried up and there was no more firewood to cook food to eat. A fire roared in the distance off screen sending ashes and embers toward my house. Finally winter came, and the credits rolled, I can only assume that Talma died from starvation and hypothermia. I wish the game lasted longer and that the days didn't end so fast, but i suppose there's a lesson somewhere in there that i haven't fully grasped yet.. I don't usually post reviews but when I do it's because I really feel the need to share the experience with other people and this is totally one of those games. In this case the game stands out because of the unique story that it tells and how it tells it and the super addictive game loop that I can get stuck in very easily. The charm is through the roof on this one and It's easily one of my favorite games of this year. Please make more, Dev!. Great game only wish storyline went a bit longer!. It is a slow game but if you're looking to take a break from the fast-paced life of the city and everyday stressful routine, this one is for you. The color theme is very enticing and pleasing to the eye, along with the art style where details are soft and are playfully put together.Instead of being annoyed for the slow movements, it gave me such introspect to take it easy, feel the moment and the beauty of everything that is present around; no need to rush and enjoy things as they are now while we are in their presence. Farming do takes time and repetitive, but the relaxing music and Talma's laugh and happy tunes show her contentment and happiness despite living alone doing the usual routine as it is what keeps her going on everyday, along with the letters she receives from her family members who live faraway.Just sad that the ending is depressing, I was expecting that the atmosphere should be peaceful as it brings rest to her contented solitary life and make her entrance to the afterlife beautiful. But here it felt like as if Talma is trapped is somewhere that is dark and dreary and where lost souls go. However seeing the goat with her that she has loved so much and protected against wolves with all her efforts, gave me the relief.Overall it is a good game for me.
